For a side with the talent of Argentina, they have been somewhat disappointing at this tournament over the years when much has been expected of them, but playing on their own continent in the 2014 World Cup should see them very much in the mix in Brazil.
Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi will be hard to stop against any opponents at the World Cup, but against three inferior sides on the world stage, he will be a force to be reckoned with early on.
It’s almost impossible to see Argentina not getting through to the next round, and one would expect Nigeria and Bosnia to battle it out for the remaining second spot at the expense of Iran.
Bosnia & Herzegovina are on the improve but lack the quality to make much of an impact at this World Cup, as do Iran, who rarely figure prominently at this tournament, while Nigeria will not provide much difficulty for sides like Argentina and the like.
Argentina are worthy $1.22 fancies for Group F and should have no problem getting through to the next round.
Of their three rivals, Bosnia is next in betting at $8.00, from Nigeria $10.00 and Iran rank outsiders at $34.00.

2014 World Cup Group F Teams & Fixtures
Coach: Alejandro Sabella
Gun player: Lionel Messi
Best World Cup result: Winners 1978, 1986
Plenty of eyes will be on Argentinia’s brilliant playmaker Lionel Messi in the 2014 World Cup and his skill will take the Argentinians a long way into the tournament. Coach Sabella has a plethor of attacking options to cause problems for their opponents, although their less than dependable defence might be a defining factor against the better class sides ahead.
Coach: Safet Susic
Gun player: Edin Dzeko
Best World Cup result: Never qualified
Bosnia-Herzegovina scored a number of goals during qualification and players such as Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and midfielders Miralem Pjanic and captain Emir Spahic will keep their opponents honest. A classy golkeeper in Asmir Begovic is also very much a positive at this level.
Coach: Carlos Queiroz
Gun player: Javad Nekounam
Best World Cup result: Group stage 1978, 1998, 2006
Iran is the master of winning the close ones and they topped their qualification group ahead of South Korea. Even with players such as Javad Nekounam in the side, it will be a big ask for the Iranians to progress any further than the group stage.
Coach: Stephen Keshi
Gun player: Victor Moses
Best World Cup result: Last 16 1994, 1998
Failed to set the world on fire during qualification but they made it to their fifth World Cup in six tournaments. Youngster Victor Moses has risen to prominence for the national team while goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and midfielder John Obi Mikel will be aiming to get the Africans through to the next round.
