Group G – Brazil and Portugal qualify

Brazil and Paraguay played out a boring 0-0 draw in Durban but it means they have finished first and second in Group G to qualify for the knockout stage of 16 with Ivory Coast and North Korea being eliminated from the tournament.

The Brazil and Paraguay Nil-all draw had little entertainment value and apart from a few heated moments it was simply 90 minutes you could have effectively spent sleeping.

The Ivory Coast scored an easy 3-0 win over North Korea with goals inside the first twenty minutes of the game for Yaya Toure and Romaric before Salomon Kalou landed another in the last ten minutes.
