Held their own during the game and were a little unlucky not to get a draw after playing the last ten minutes with 10 men and conceding a late goal due to a mistake by the keeper.
England vs Algeria Preview
England will be looking for the win here against arguably the weaker of the four nations in the group and the the Poms are ranked 8th in the world compared to Algeria at 30 and anything but a win will not be tolerated by the passionate English fans.
Algeria must get points after losing their first match and they will make it difficult for England in this match and the Algerians are very capable of just defending then waiting for an opportunity to present itself.

England vs Algeria Match Prediction
England will see this as a game they can win and by all rights are expected to win given their world rankings and the quality in the English side.
The Three Lions can make things tough for themselves at times and while on paper they should win this one, we wouldn’t entertain the thought of taking the Poms at the very short odds on offer.
Algeria is definitely the value here at $11 plus Switzerland showed against Spain that you can win at $12 or more, although you couldn’t really entertain the thought of backing Algeria for the win.
England at $1.25 are no value and we prefer not to bet on this game for that reason.
If you simply must have a bet then consider England @ 1.53 to keep a clean sheet and not allow Nigeria to score. Once again, make sure you visit Betfair to get the best price you can.
